Fremont Middle School Students Go Back to School Full-time!

Lily McMurty, Section Reporter

Fremont Middle School students went back to school full time on May 10, 2021. All students are required to wear their masks at all times and stay 3 feet apart. There are hallway, lunch, and bathroom guidelines that students must follow. While in the hallway there is tape showing to stay on the right side of the hallway. Students should also try to distance themselves from other students. For lunch, students either go inside where they eat their lunch first or go outside to have free time first. During lunch, students sit 3 feet apart from each other. There is an X that students have to sit on to stay 3 feet away from each other. When students need to use the bathroom you will ask a teacher to go do their business, wash your hands then come back. If a student/teacher gets covid anybody who has direct contact with them will have to quarantine.

Fremont went back to school so late in the school year ̈Because the guidelines changed and said it was okay to come back. Since we can be around 100 people, be 3 feet apart, and have our masks on at all times it is okay for us to come back ̈ said Mr. Bentea. The plan for coming back to school next year is somewhat normal. ̈We are planning to go 5 days a week and 7 classes ̈ said Mr. Bentea. Going back to school from such a long break can be very stressful. When you are feeling very stressed or overwhelmed you can talk to your guidance counselor or a teacher.
