NJHS Has Big Plans

Estelle Smith, Section Reporter

Recently the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) hosted a fundraiser at Fremont. They raised funds for their club as well as for the journalism class at Fremont Middle School. For the fundraiser, a small menu was put together where people could order food. The event was able to bring in $950 which was split evenly between journalism and NJHS.

Mrs. Chasteen, the head of NJHS at Fremont stated, “NJHS is going to put together care packages for those in need, so that is what our funds are going to go to.”

Jenna Fay, a member of NJHS and a student at Fremont said, “I think it’s really fun, and we get to do a lot of park cleanups to help our community as much as we can during the pandemic, so I think it’s a really nice opportunity.”

If you would like to join NJHS or would like more information on the club, you can email Mrs. Chasteen at …
