Now that the election’s over, we can return to our lives now. Wrong! Now it’s time for… “Donald Trump vs. SNL Episode Two: The Alec Baldwin-ing.” Once again our president-elect allows himself to be offended by the opinions of the people. The idea that Donald Trump does not want people to have opinions is worrying, to say the least.

The skit involving the president-elect was aiming to joke about how unprepared Mr. Trump might be for the presidency. Much of it featured him changing his mind on things he stated he was going to do if he became president. But a major part of the skit was his plan to take on ISIS. A U.S. general  walks into President-Elect Trump’s  office and states how excited he is about Donald Trump’s super-amazing, super secret plan to finally defeat ISIS. After the general left the room, President-Elect Trump ran over to his computer and googled “What is ISIS?”

The skit was hilarious, but Mr. Trump didn’t think so. The president-elect tweeted “I watched parts of @nbcsnl Saturday Night Live last night. It’s a totally one-sided, biased show – nothing funny at all. Equal time for us?” Saturday Night Live’s Alec Baldwin, who happens to be the one doing Trump impressions, responded by saying “Equal time? Election is over. There is no more equal time. Now u try 2 b Pres + ppl respond. That’s pretty much it.”

Mr. Baldwin went on to give Mr. Trump some friendly advice. He ended his statement with “I could go on. You want more advice, call me. I’ll be at SNL.” This backlash from Baldwin is sure to have surprised Mr. Trump.

He will soon be our president, but he still gets so fussy over such little things. Also, why do we still let Donald Trump have a twitter account? If all he’s going to do on it is be angry and offended, then what use is it? Surely not to make people like him more. And worst of all, this isn’t his only recent Tripe-filled Tweet. If you want to know more, look into his assaults on the cast of the musical Hamilton and his thoughts on free speech. Anyhow, enjoy the holidays, and don’t be like Mr. Trump!
